Sports and Kelley

Mid Terms are coming to an end and it couldn't have come at a better time. Soccer is at its apex and school was proving to be rather difficult. I along with many other student athletes am in the Kelley School of Business. Playing a sport and finding time for school work can prove to be very difficult, but it is always manageable, with some sacrifices, even if it means sleeping for less than five hours some nights. I along with many other student athletes have found it helpful to try and take classes together this way when times get tough we are able to move each other along. Also, with our busy schedules we are forced to miss some classes. However, by having good friends in the class it is always easy to catch up.
This has proved to be the most difficult year of being a Student-Athlete thus far. I am taking ICORE, the set of, Marketing, Finance, and Operations that most Kelley students fear. I have been told many horror stories from upper class students about how dreadful the classes can be. I have found however that as long as you keep up with the work the classes are not that bad. It is time for my group to really crack down on our project so I do fear that the hardest days are ahead of me.
I have attached some pictures of our soccer trip to Shreveport, Louisiana. We took a sleeper bus it was a 12 hour drive(one way). We left Friday, played Saturday, and drove back that night. We arrived back in Indy at 8am Sunday. The drive home was not so pleasant as we came out on the bad end of a 3-2 game.
Also attached, we found some time to go bowling on a trip earlier in the year.
