Career Counseling
Career counseling is about more than just finding a job or fine-tuning a resume - and it's not just for traditional juniors and seniors looking to explore career and internship opportunities. Through face-to-face appointments, phone counseling and e-mail, our career counseling services will be individualized to meet your unique needs. In addition to resume and cover letter reviews, frequent topics of discussion include:
- Major exploration and selection within business
- Workplace issues you are currently dealing with
- Self-assessment
- Work-life balance concerns
- Career changes
- Developing a targeted job search
- Promotions and salary / job offer negotiations
- And many more
Not a traditional student? Not a problem.
Our staff has extensive experience working with experienced professionals returning to complete a degree, including those dealing with work-life issues, mid-career changes, and professional advancement within the workplace. We also work with students at the freshman and sophomore levels - and encourage them to come in and begin exploring career options as soon as possible.
