Apply for the Graduate Certificate in Medical Management.

Both clinical and healthcare business professionals are invited to apply for this program. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years work experience to be considered for admission. Typically, an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better qualifies for admission into the program. There is no admission test required.

New student cohorts form each fall, winter and summer quarter. Below are the upcoming application deadlines.

  • May 17 for Summer 2020 start
  • August 17 for Fall 2020 start
  • November 6 for Winter 2020 start

Cost

The Graduate Certificate in Medical Management is affordable and competitive, especially compared to healthcare management master's degrees.

  • Tuition is $700 per credit hour or $10,500 for the 15-credit program.
  • University fees are estimated at $265 for 3 credits per quarter.
  • Textbooks, parking, learning materials and course-specific fees are not included in these numbers.

Financial Aid

Many students receive tuition assistance through their organizations or capitalize on the federal student loan program. For more information on this program, domestic students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and contact the Office of Student Financial Services. When filing the FAFSA, use IUPUI’s school code: 001813.

Continuing Education Credits

You may earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education Units (CEU) through courses in this program. CME credits are administered through the Indiana University School of Medicine Division of Continuing Medical Education. If your organization sponsors CME activities, you can use these resources to help pay for the medical management graduate certificate. Additionally, tax benefits can apply; talk with your tax professional.
