Admission to the Kelley School of Business Evening MBA program is highly competitive with other nationally ranked part-time MBA programs. Applicants are encouraged to thoroughly prepare prior to sitting for the GMAT exam. We recommend students begin their preparation by utilizing the free study materials and practice exams.
Applicants who have taken an undergraduate or graduate level Financial Accounting course within the past 5 years with a grade of B- or better have satisfied the prerequisite requirement. Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission and our admissions staff will evaluate their need for this prerequisite. If required, students can complete an online primer after being admitted but before starting MBA core courses.
For convenience, we offer a non-credit, online primer immediately before the start of fall and spring terms. No trips to campus are necessary, grading is pass/fail, and it typically takes four to six weeks to complete. The primer is self-paced, and includes assignments and a final exam.
