Experience Is Our Competitive Advantage
Our undergraduate and graduate students and alumni possess a diverse range of business experiences and skills. Many are currently working professionals, augmenting their skill set with a degree. Even our traditional-aged college students are typically more mature and accustomed to the demands of the workplace than their peers, with years of work experience rounding out their resumes.
Overall, you'll find that Kelley Indianapolis students and alumni are highly motivated to contribute to the success of your company. Their academic preparation and the culture of Kelley makes them adept at offering innovate and creative solutions. Our majors include:
- Human Resources Management
- Supply Chain Management
The Kelley Indianapolis curriculum prepares graduates by focusing on applying classroom learning to actual business.
Integrative Core (I-Core), the centerpiece of our undergraduate curriculum and required for all Kelley Indianapolis undergraduates, emphasizes the interaction of operational, financial, and marketing research and analysis.
I-Core culminates with a group project in which students work with a local business, earning an Experiential Learning notation on their transcripts in the process. The experience gives students first-hand exposure to how finance, marketing, and operations work within the context of a real company.
In Indianapolis, and Ready to Work
Our students are earning Kelley School of Business degrees right here in Indianapolis, which means they are seeking internship opportunities throughout the year, not just for 10 weeks in the summer. Many of our students are also planning for full-time employment in Indianapolis or in the Midwest after graduation, so internships and part-time work assignments are an excellent way for you to evaluate students for full-time employment opportunities.
