In order to sit for the CPA exam, students must have earned a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 150 credit hours completed from an accredited institution. Most bachelor's degrees require 120 credit hours. The Kelley Indianapolis MSA and MST Programs provide you an additional 30 credit hours which will qualify you to sit for the CPA exam as well as prepare you with our challenging curriculum.

Here's what you need to sit for the CPA exam:
- Earned 150 total credit hours
- Earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution that includes:
- 24 credit hours of business/economics
- 24 credit hours of accounting, which must include the following courses:
- Financial accounting
- Managerial accounting
- Taxation
- Auditing

Are you ready?
You may apply to sit for the CPA exam 60 days prior to your eligibility. Your registrar will need to submit the Certificate of Enrollment form, which indicates the degree you will earn and the classes you will complete during your final semester.
